“I want our patients
to feel comfortable in our office. We try and treat you
how we would want to be treated if we were the dental patient”
|
Dr. Rosenthal received his undergraduate degree
from the University of Oregon and his dental doctoral degree from
Oregon Health Science University in 1976. He holds Fellowships in
the Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Dentistry International;
and the American College of Dentist. In 1997, Dr. Rosenthal was
named Oregon Dentist of the Year. He is active in several dental
organizations and currently serves on the AGD National Dental Care
Council.
Dr. Rosenthal sums up his dental practice philosophy
with the following thought. "I want our patients to feel comfortable
in our office. We try and treat you how we would want to be treated
if we were the dental patient. I feel it is important that the patient
knows what is happening in their mouth. If there are dental needs,
patients need to know what the various treatment options are and
what the cost will be. We make every effort to be on time for your
visit. Protective eyewear, headphones, nitrous oxide and single
tooth anesthesia are available for your comfort during your visit.
We like to think of our patients as friends and part of our dental
family. We will make every effort to satisfy your dental wants and
needs and make your visit to our office a pleasant experience."
Dr. Rosenthal is a third generation Portland dentist.
He and his wife, Barbara, have two grown children, Kristin and Ben.
When not involved in dental projects, John enjoys the outdoors,
exercising, golf, travel and movies.
