Leanne Stemmer, Office Manager

Leanne Stemmer Office ManagerI was born and raised in Oregon. I have worked in the dental field since 1995, and have been at DDA since 1999. I started my dental career as a dental assistant, and have been the office manager at DDA since 2005.

I enjoy the diversity of my position and being able to help our patients either during treatment or after. I also enjoy working with the great doctors at DDA. They genuinely care about their patients, as if they are their own loved ones.

When you come to DDA, you are greeted with a knowledgeable, caring, and informative dental team. All of us enjoy giving excellent, quality care to our patients. We work together to give you, the patient, personalized attention. This means whatever our patients individual needs are, we are there for them, from check in to check out.

I have been married to my husband Bobby since 2004. We rescued a 7-year-old beagle mix (Allie) in October of 2014 from Oregon Dog Rescue. She is a little spoiled. I enjoy cooking, working out, golfing, traveling, as well as spending time with my friends and family.

Sarah Voge, RDH

Sara Voge, RDHI graduated from Oregon State University in 2003 with a B.S. in Fisheries Science. Then decided to go back school to pursue Dental Hygiene at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas. I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 2009.

Being a dental hygienist was a natural fit for me because I love getting to know my patients and help them achieve better dental health. My goal is to provide gentle and thorough care to all my patients. I try to educate without lectures and aim to make coming to the dentist a pleasurable experience.

I grew up in Lincoln City, Oregon. After college in Corvallis, I moved to Austin, Texas for 9 years and moved back to Oregon a couple of years ago to be closer to family. My husband Kyle and I have 2 young children, Natalie and Lucas. In my free time, I like running and spending time with my family.

I graduated from Pine Manor College in Massachusetts in 1993 with a BA in Biopsychology and a minor in visual arts. In 2000 I graduated from OHSU with a BS in Dental hygiene. Since that time I’ve maintained a fulfilling career in Portland.

My passion for dental hygiene centers around my connection to each patient while providing consistent, quality oral healthcare especially as it relates to overall health.

I am a native Portlander and enjoy much of what makes our city unique. I enjoy trail runs through Forest Park, our walkable urban center, the Arts and the ever-evolving restaurant scene.

I am thrilled to be part of Downtown Dental Associates and look forward to meeting you.

I was born and raised in Oregon. I began my dental career as an office manager for an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Soon after, I was accepted into the Mt. Hood College Dental Hygiene Program where I graduated with honors. I have been a long time patient here at DDA and I am very excited to now be working along side such caring and professional colleagues.

What I love most about my career is developing a long term relationship with patients, and working together to help them learn what is best for their oral health.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, whether it’s playing board games on a Friday night, or watching them play at one of their many sporting events. Outside of my family I love golfing, watching football, hiking, working out and traveling with my siblings and very close friends.

I am a native Oregonian! I grew up in Canby and enjoyed my small town upbringing. After high school, I attended Pacific Union College located in Napa, California. After completing my pre-requisites there (and meeting my husband), I returned to Portland and obtained my Dental Hygiene degree from Carrington College.

Dental Hygiene has been such a rewarding career. Educating patients can be made fun and interactive! I believe improvements and sustained oral care should be celebrated. I also enjoy and place high importance on making patients feel at ease with any procedure. Our team at DDA makes all the difference!

Outside the office, I enjoy playing indoor soccer, riding my bike, and exploring the PNW! My husband and I enjoy traveling, hanging out with our Corgi (Marley), and our newest roommate, Amelia (our daughter).
